The core functionality of GTM Trigger Studio is to inspect your active browser tab and generate CSS selectors and trigger data for Google Tag Manager. This process happens entirely locally on your device.

• We do not collect, transmit, or store any Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
• We do not collect or track your browsing history or web activity.
• We do not track keystrokes, form inputs, or sensitive page content.

2. Permissions and Data Access

To function correctly, the Extension requires the following Chrome permissions, which are strictly used for the Extension's single purpose:

• activeTab & scripting: Required to inject the visual inspector interface (crosshairs and tooltips) into the current page and temporarily read the Document Object Model (DOM) to generate accurate CSS selectors when you manually click an element.
• storage: Used to save your active/inactive toggle state and securely store your license key locally within your browser.

3. Third-Party Services (License Verification)

The Extension communicates with a single external service: LemonSqueezy. When you enter a license key, the Extension sends a secure, encrypted request to api.lemonsqueezy.com strictly to verify the validity of your license and unlock premium features. No tracking data or website data is sent to this server.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

In strict accordance with the Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies, we certify that:

• We do not sell or transfer user data to third parties.
• We do not use or transfer user data for purposes unrelated to the Extension's single core purpose.
• We do not use or transfer user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Effective Date".
