The core functionality of Meta Pixel Trigger is to assist in validating, inspecting, and configuring Meta Pixel events and Conversions API tracking on your active browser tab. This process happens entirely locally on your device.

• We do not collect or track your browsing history or web activity.
• We do not intercept sensitive page content, form inputs, or user credentials.

2. Permissions and Data Access

To function correctly, the Extension requires the following Chrome permissions, which are strictly used for the Extension's single core purpose:

• activeTab & scripting: Required to scan the current page's Document Object Model (DOM) for Meta Pixel base code and event triggers, and to inject the visual helper interface to display pixel firing statuses and validation diagnostics.
• storage: Used to securely save your extension preferences (such as your active/inactive toggle state and preferred test event codes) locally within your browser.

3. Third-Party Services

The Extension monitors requests made from your browser to Meta's tracking endpoints (such as connect.facebook.net or graph.facebook.com) strictly to verify the validity of your pixel implementation and display event data back to you. We do not intermediate this connection, and no tracking data or website data is sent to external servers owned or operated by us.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

In strict accordance with the Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies, we certify that:

• We do not sell or transfer user data to third parties.
• We do not use or transfer user data for purposes unrelated to the Extension's single core purpose.
• We do not use or transfer user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
